this awesome looking show!( Words and Photos by Jim Hrody) Appleton, Wisconsin is located in the east-central part of the state, about 30 miles southwest of Green Bay. Each July, the Appleton Old Car Show takes over a 36 acre parcel called Pierce Park. This program is not relegated to one little corner. Every readily available area had something to see, whether it was under a canopy of trees, in an open area of yard, on the asphalt of a car park, or around the baseball fields.
Historically, 1000-plus automobiles and also vehicles, ranging from the brass-era to the late smog-era are in attendance. This year was the 44th annual version, with the newest qualified design year being 1992. On hand were a significant swap meet, a craft fair, as well as food vehicles spread around.
